Watershed Fellowship Nursery
When you visit Watershed Fellowship, you are welcome to keep your children in the service with you or take advantage of our nursery. We have two nursery rooms available: infant-24 months (Crawlers) and 2-4 year olds (Walkers).
Watershed Fellowship Kids
“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1-2
Classes are available during the sermon for preschool and elementary aged children. Children start off in the gathering with their families where they can sing worship songs and witness baptisms together. When it’s time for the message, children and teachers are dismissed for their teaching time. We have two classes: 4k-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. Classes last for the length of the sermon, then kids and teachers rejoin the service for the final song.
On the first Sunday of every month, Watershed observes communion. On this Sunday, children stay with their families for the entire gathering. A pastor or elder shares a special kids message before the main message, and the kids are given a worksheet to fill in (and doodle on) during the main message. After a shorter main message, communion is served.
On the last Sunday of every month, the kids participate in “Scripture & Song” instead of their typical classes. SAS is for ages 4K-5th grade and is a time for the kids to learn scripture-based songs. They have opportunities throughout the year to sing these songs in the service or out in the community as a way to minister to others.
WSF Kids also offers family events and outings throughout the year.
Watershed fellowship Youth
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
Our youth ministry is based on the needs of our families. We currently offer a youth group gathering for middle schoolers on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 4:00-6:00pm. Men and women leaders facilitate a time of games, snacks, and discussion.
Some of our older teenage members attend youth group at our sister church, Lexington Presbyterian. You can find more info on their meeting times here.
